A training environment designed to replicate real-world conditions
Australian 4WD & Advanced Driver Education delivers training in one of the country’s most comprehensive 4WD learning environments. Our dedicated driver facility in Kurwongbah, just 25 minutes north of Brisbane, spans more than 1,000 acres, offering varied terrains designed to replicate the challenges people face on-site or in the field.
Across the facility, students have the opportunity to experience:
- Bush terrain for AWD and 4WD vehicles with a range of gradients
- Practical road sections for driver awareness and emergency braking on gravel and concrete
- Slalom and trailer manoeuvring areas
- Skid Pan
- Light, medium and heavy rigid vehicle training zones
This environment lets students learn through realistic scenarios without the risks of an uncontrolled worksite. It’s a hands-on way to prepare your team for what they’ll encounter day to day.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we provide nationally recognised 4WD and Advanced Driver Training that aligns with legislative standards and supports safer driving across a wide range of environments.
Our most recent RTO re-registration audit recorded zero non-compliances, with our registration secured through 2029. This reflects the strength of our systems and the care we put into delivering dependable, high-quality training.

We create and provide structured learning programs that are competency-based, flexible and recognise the pre-existing skills of all trainees. Our courses combine theoretical and practical training.

- A progressive introduction to the mechanical workings of a four wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicle drive train, as well as how it applies to driving off-road
