Course Timings

The PMASUP236 Operate vehicles in the field is a large 1-day course with start and finish times varying depending on location. Please enquire further to find out about start and finish times in your location.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisite training units for this course, but drivers must hold a valid driver’s licence.

Australian 4WD Training Practical Training Area

Australian 4WD Training’s exclusive Driver Training Facility at Kurwongbah offers terrain similar to the terrain that people would be required to drive on in their everyday driving as part of their jobs. This offers superior opportunities for developing skills and techniques in these environments, rather than in a simulated environment or a makeshift area artificially created for driver training.

On-Site Training

For group bookings, training can be delivered on any site with suitable terrain. This allows staff to be trained in locations familiar to their day-to-day use of 4WD and other light vehicles, and can be delivered at your site to ensure minimal disruption to shift routine.

Custom Corporate and Group Trainings

Australian 4WD Training specialises in the design and implementation of client-specific and site-specific driver training and education. Our make-specific courses not only cover all mandatory nationally recognised elements for the PMASUP236 Operate vehicles in the field but are contextualised to ensure they meet the specific requirements of the employer and their staff.

We can train in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Mount Isa, Moranbah, Roma, Toowoomba, Newcastle, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart and Launceston. However, we’re not limited to these areas.
